Is Carla GMA-7’s Primetime Queen?

“Ekstra.” But this year, he’ll be seen in only one entry, and it’s a short film at that, “Eyeball.” “Last year kasi, ang daming nagreklamo,” he says. “So- brang dami raw ng pelikula ko, kaya this year, isa na lang. Yung ibang artista marami ring pelikula, hindi inireklamo. Ako lang.”
But “Eyeball” is enough for him. “It’s worth doing a short film like this for a competent new filmmaker like Thop Nazareno. I play a chickboy who arranges to meet face to face a woman I just got to know through Facebook. While waiting for her, I meet a nerdy guy who teaches me on how
to attract women and the experience will be life- changing.”
Thop Nazareno is a multi-media arts gradu- ate from St. Benilde and also took up filmmak- ing at Mowelfund. His first short film, “Balut ni Mang Roger” was shown in the US and Europe. He hopes to direct a full-length film for his next project. As for Nico, he just finished “Dyesebel” on ABS-CBN. He’s now doing the mainstream film, “The Trial,” for Direk Chito Roño. A law gradu- ate, he’ll next review for the bar exams.
Sex Video to divert from SONA
When the sex scandal involving allegedly the Kapatid newscaster and TV host Paolo Bediones broke at the start of this week, a few netizens have some difficulty believing that it’s really him on the photo and video which immediately went viral in the social networking sites, particularly on Facebook.
While some are certain that it’s really Bediones in the sex scandal, there are still some who couldn’t believe it and refused to accept it at face value. Meanwhile, a friend on Facebook even jokingly commented that the release of the video could be plotted by the allies of the Aquino administra- tion to veer the public’s attention away from the SONA. Yes, this may sound silly but this definitely made me laugh.
Anyway, prior to P-Noy communicating his administration’s accomplishments for the past year, my FB newsfeed was already flooded with status updates relative to the sex scandal which was actu- ally the ultimate reason why I got curious about the issue.
Amidst the issue confronting Bediones, his mother network has remained on his side.
TV5 said that “the recent issue involving our news anchor, Paolo Bediones, on social media is a purely personal and private matter in which TV5 has no involvement or desire to intrude.”
“We firmly express our support for our anchor Paolo Bediones in the face of a controversy that represents nothing more than an attempt to smear his reputation.”
As of this writing, Bediones hasn’t issued any statement yet in response to this controversy. Ev- eryone right now is waiting for his words.
Well, a lot of us only have one question for him. Why do you have a sex video, Paolo Bediones?

Sunud-sunod ang programa ni Carla na pawang matataas ang ratings at kumikita rin ang mga pelikula kaya aminado siyang pressured siya.

“I don’t know, I wouldn’t say, I honestly don’t know kasi wala akong free time, araw-araw akong may trabaho, may taping, so how can I say na it’s going there kung I don’t have time. At least magkasama kami sa trabaho, ‘ganu’n na lang muna,” sagot ni Carla.
Dingdong celebrates, Attains Maturity
Dingdong Dantes celebrated his birthday land he was given a surprise party by his co-stars, crew and staffers on the set of the hit drama, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.” Dong is elated as everyone is congratulating for his fine portrayal of Anthony Real, the man with two wives.
He has won two best actor awards for “Segunda Mano” and “One More Try” but it’s the consensus that his maturity as an actor really shone bright in “Dalawang Mrs. Real.”
“Impressive ang portrayal niya as a man torn between two women and a dad with two sons- isang ampon at isang tunay niyang kadugo,” says the show’s director Andoy Ranay. “He really shines in the confronta- tion scenes he has with Maricel Soriano and Lovi Poe.
